A Discussion about the Unsolved Murder of Elizabeth Barraza

In episode 29, we touched upon the unsolved murder of 29-year old Elizabeth Barraza, who was shot to death in her own driveway while setting up for a garage sale in 2019. It seemed to happen in a flash–one minute she was setting up items to sell and not five minutes later, a stranger emerged from a nearby truck, shooting her at point blank range.

Despite this mysterious person and their vehicle being captured on various surveillance videos, no one has been able to identify this person in the four years since Liz’s murder. Perhaps more perplexing, no one has been able to determine WHY someone would target Liz–a self proclaimed “geek” who loved Star Wars and a gifted costume designer who would dress up to brighten the day of sick kids and a local children’s hospital.

In this episode, we take a closer look at this upsetting, albeit important case. Join Amber, Elaine, and I for a discussion on the unsolved murder of Elizabeth Barraza.
